| Last year foreign investments in Bulgarian capital market were USD 67.1 million, according to the annual report of Securities and Stock Exchanges Commission (SSEC). In 1997 and 1998 investments were USD 29.7 million and USD 64.2 million. The turnover on the stock exchange went down by 75 per cent as compared to 1998. | Neftinvestbank declared for the first time its main shareholders after the General Meeting. The present main shareholder - Jukos Petroleum, transferred his shares to the company of Mr. Mitko Subev Naftex, to Petrol and Toplivo, was reported from the bank. | The Director of the Board of Management of LUKoil-Bulgaria SP Ltd. Mr. Valentin Zlatev stated that the company does not intend to buy the gas stations of Petrol JSC. He also rejected the claims that the company refuses to sell fuels to Petrol JSC. Meanwhile nearby the village of Bratovo, Bourgas was opened the first gas station of LUKoil in the Municipality. It is the 7th gas stations from totall 30 that the company intends to build. Neftochim JSC payed old debts of USD 70 million to the budget.
