"Sentilion" produces electronic modules, systems and complex products for fields such as medicine, avionics and precision industrial equipment. Established a little over 25 years ago as a Bulgarian-Austrian partnership, the company has made a name for itself on the market with its implants for people with hearing impairments. In 2012, the company began building its own base in Sofia to meet customer requirements. Its latest innovation is the implementation of completely paperless production, and the plans include the use of augmented reality glasses in the processes. The company employs about 330 people. When "Sentilion" decided to build its own base in Sofia, one of the main reasons was that this would allow it to build a clean room according to its standards. These premises provide a controlled environment and allow sterile production of products for the medical, aerospace and other sectors. Over the past year, an investment was made in expanding the capacity of the existing clean room for "Sentilion"'s higher-end products. Its area has been almost doubled compared to its original size. The largest industry the company works for is the medical one, and its main product is cochlear implants, which are used for people with hearing impairments and are sold all over the world. "Sentillion" produces parts for satellites and nanosatellites and is a partner of EnduroSat. Another new project is in the field of space - the company is developing its own robotic line for the production of solar panels for satellites.
