Months after selling its stake in the space EnduroSat with a seven-fold return, Pavel Ezekiev's investment group Neo Ventures starts 2026 with a new fund, three new partners and three completed deals, and a fourth one that is about to be concluded. The fund is called Neo Autonomy, and behind it are familiar figures - Ezekiev himself, Momchil Zarev (who is currently also a partner in the NV3 fund, whose active investment period ended at the end of 2024), Yordan Zarev and Ivan Ivanov. This time they will bet on autonomous systems, drones and technologies that are changing transport and logistics in Europe. Neo Autonomy examines the concept of autonomy in three directions - human autonomy, system autonomy and infrastructure autonomy. The fund will invest in companies for air transport, ground infrastructure, solutions against asymmetric threats and B2B technologies with AI integration. The fund's target portfolio is 45-50 million euros for the next three years. At the moment, Autonomy has about 14 million euros for investments, with nearly 13 million of them already allocated or in the process of closing. The fund's largest investment goes to the Italian Flying Basket, founded in 2015 by the Moreder brothers. In 2020, the company implemented the first commercial cargo drone operation in Europe and is today an experienced operator in the category with over 1,000 completed operations in logistics, construction, cable laying and offshore deliveries. Neo Autonomy is entering it with 10 million euros through a special variable capital company Aces High Capital and will own 22% of the company. The second company in Autonomy's portfolio is Extend Robotics, a London startup that develops VR platforms for remote control of robots in hazardous environments - nuclear energy, space, healthcare, agriculture. The investment is 1 million dollars for a 10% stake. Fadron is the only Bulgarian project that Autonomy is involved in at the moment. The company was founded in 2024 by Tihomir Nedev and Vasil Petrov and develops drones with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) for civilian and defense purposes, as well as specialized software for road infrastructure inspection using artificial intelligence. Neo Autonomy is investing about $1 million, with which Fadron plans to accelerate development, increase production and build a factory and R&D center on the outskirts of Sofia. In parallel with the construction of Neo Autonomy, the fund is investing in Oxford Space Systems - a British company that develops deployable antennas for satellites
